The rain falls from the heavens, sizzling upon my feverish flesh. The howling wind beckons me, "Come Hither, child" and I feel I must obey. The sweetest scent of ruin and desperation fills me with desire. "Oh, how I do so wish to play," the blood boils within me. The Darkness rules the land, pushing aside the meek rays of light. Prologue    The day that changed me forever started as a relatively normal one. I woke up and went to the bathroom. Well, I hit the alarm, rolled around trying to go back to sleep, realized I actually needed to be up and rolled out of bed. After which I used the facilities, dressed in my usual jeans and blouse with stylish yet practical boots and headed downstairs for breakfast.
